First, I learned today that I have been accepted as an artist member to the Los Angeles Art Association!  It’s hard for me to believe that 10 years ago, it would have been unimaginable to me that I’d be a fused glass artist at all, let alone that I would be in this place today.  What a thrill – to think that I’ll be able to enter some shows in LA – Wow!

Also, I learned that my work has been accepted into a new show being mounted at the Abra Gallery in Westlake – in fact three pieces have been selected for the show.  As this is a fabulous, high-profile gallery in our area, I’m very excited to have my work shown in their “Small” show, opening on June 21.  They will be showing pieces from my Homage to Picasso Series which have been so exciting to complete, and now I’m inspired to do even more of this series, as well as to go forward with some more Chagall pieces and perhaps other Masters as well.  You can see all these pieces on my “Fine Art” page.  So…if you’re in the area, please join me at this exciting show.
